Sales – Booking
Full Day and Half Day Outings
- Registration - Payment
Please contact us by email or phone. We will then discuss the possibility of organising the activity and its possible modalities. If both parties agree, we will send you a written confirmation (SMS or e-mail), to which you must also respond in writing. Full payment of the service must be made prior to discharge or, if this is not possible due to timing being too short, at the beginning of the activity. Accepted payment methods are cash, bank cheques, bank transfers.
- Rates
Prices for the various activities are presented on the RnW website. They only include the supervision of the activity by a professional climbing instructor and the loan of equipment (except climbing shoes and chalk bags). They do not include accommodation, catering or transportation.
In the case of a multi-pitch accompaniment, the price will be communicated to the customer according to the route chosen. However, indicative rates are advertised on the website.
- Cancellation - Modification
RnW reserves the right to cancel or modify an activity for safety reasons (in particular adverse weather conditions or due to the skill level of the participants) or for any other case of force majeure. In the event of a cancellation, you may be offered another date. If the outing cannot be carried out and the payment has been received in advance, the service will be reimbursed in full without being able to claim any other compensation.
According to Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts for the provision of leisure activities that must be provided on a specific date or period.
In the event of cancellation of the service by the client less than seven days before the start of the service, only 50% of the payment will be refunded. If this cancellation is justified by a medical reason, the customer must present a medical certificate and will be reimbursed in full on an individual basis. If the client does not show up at the beginning of the booked service, he will not receive any refund.
Courses
- Registration - Payment
A telephone discussion is necessary before booking a course, for various reasons: taking into account the client's profile and expectations, checking the prerequisites, information and advice to the client, answers to his/her questions, logistical aspects, etc. In the event of an agreement between RnW and the client regarding a course, an email accompanied by a registration form will be sent to the latter. The client must then return the form completed and signed as soon as possible. If the start of the course is more than 30 days from the date the form is received, the client will be asked to pay an immediate booking deposit of 40% of the course price. If the start of the course is less than 30 days away, the client will be required to pay the full price of the course upon submitting the form. The validation of the registration for a course is subject to the return of the completed and signed registration form and the payment of the deposit or the full price of the course (depending on the deadline).
In the event that a deposit has been paid, the balance of the payment (60%) must be received at least 30 days before the start of the course. Single pitch courses require a minimum of 4 participants and multi-pitch courses require a minimum of 3 participants. If two weeks before the start of the course the minimum number of participants is not reached, registered clients will be notified of the cancellation of the course and will then be immediately refunded in full.
- Rates
The prices for the different courses are advertised on the RnW website. They only include the supervision of the activity by a professional climbing instructor and the loan of equipment (except climbing shoes and chalk bags). They do not include accommodation, catering or transportation. However, RnW may be able to find solutions for these services in order to facilitate the smooth running of their guests' stay.
In the case of a personalised course for a group, a quote will be sent to the clients. If accepted, the same registration and payment terms as described above will apply.
- Cancellation - Modification
As mentioned above, in the event that the number of registered clients is less than the minimum number of clients required, two weeks before the start of the course, the course will be cancelled. Registered customers will then be notified and refunded in full.
RnW reserves the right to modify or cancel the stay if the safety of the group is not guaranteed, or because of possible multiple organisational problems or any unforeseeable problems out of our control: pandemic, natural disaster, or others. In case of cancellation by RnW, payments received will be refunded in full and clients will not be entitled to any additional compensation. In the event of cancellation during the course for exceptional reasons on the part of RnW, clients will be reimbursed in proportion to the days not worked.
According to Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts for the provision of leisure activities that must be provided on a specific date or period.
Any cancellation request by a client must be sent by email. The date of receipt of the application will be the date used for the fee. If this cancellation request occurs less than 30 days before the start of the course, the cancellation fee will be 20% of the total price. If this request occurs more than 30 days before the start of the course, the cancellation fee will be 60% of the total price. The balance of the cancellation fee will be retained by RnW and the rest of the sums paid will be refunded to the client.
Any client who has started to participate in a course, if he or she leaves it before the end of the course and on his or her own initiative, will not be entitled to any refund. Only a medical problem justified by a doctor imposing the termination of the course (medical certificate to prove such) will allow the client to be reimbursed (in proportion to the remaining days).
Responsibilities - Obligations
By Rock'n Wild
We are committed to supervising the proposed activities according to safety standards, pedagogical principles and progression principles adapted to each participant. We are committed to complying with the legal obligations and codes of conduct related to the status of our professional climbing instructors. We are committed to using equipment that complies with the maintenance and use standards established by the manufacturer. We are committed to checking the condition of this equipment before each activity. Finally, we are committed to respecting the environment and the tranquility of the natural environment during our activities.
The climbing instructor is the sole judge during the activity, to carry out or modify, or even to stop the planned programme in order to ensure the safety of the clients and the smooth running of the activity. The instructor is subject to an obligation of security of means and not of result. The instructor shall use all means at their disposal, including waiver, to prudently and diligently ensure the safety of customers, who retain an active role in the performance of the business.
Under no circumstances can RnW be held liable for circumstances relating to force majeure, for acts caused by third parties outside the services provided for in the contract, or for the improper performance of the contract, for which the customer is responsible.
By Client
Technical, physical or experience prerequisites may condition the client's access to the activity or course. The client who falsely declares that he meets these prerequisites, and who has a lower technical, physical or experience level than that declared, is fully responsible for the consequences that may result. Participation in the services requires good health, equipment suitable for sports, good behaviour towards other participants and the supervisor, as well as compliance with the instructions given. In particular, the client must declare to the instructor any health problem, medical history, one-off or long-term treatment, or accident likely to affect his physical or psychological health, as well as any particular apprehension (dizziness, history of accident, fears, etc.). We would like to draw your attention to the fact that we only offer sports holidays that require a high level of physical commitment. We recommend that you carefully read the information regarding the technical experience and the level of physical involvement required before proceeding with your registration.
The client undertakes to appear at the time and place where the activity is to take place. For the smooth running of the activities and out of respect for the other participants, we tolerate a delay of 20 minutes maximum. After this period, the instructor goes on active duty and no refunds or allowances will be due.
During the activity, the client must ensure their own safety and that of third parties. He must respect the rules of safety and behaviour that derive from common sense, as well as those transmitted by the instructor.
The client is responsible for the equipment loaned to him. In case of loss or theft of it, the client will be charged. The same is true in some cases of deterioration or damage.
Insurance
The RnW instructor has a civil liability insurance covering the supervision of the activities: MAIF - CS 90000 – 79038 Niort cedex 9 - N° member: 7901140H
However, it is desirable for each client to have personal "civil liability" and "personal accident" insurance covering the practice of climbing.
Image Rights
The client authorises RnW to use without limitation for promotional and commercial purposes, by means of reproduction, representation, projection and adaptation, the images (photos and videos) taken during the supervised activity, unless otherwise expressly indicated by the client before the start of the activity. The parents of the minor client grant RnW permission to use the images of the minor customer under the same conditions.
Processing of personal data
The information collected in the registration form is stored on a computerised file. The data collected will not be communicated to third parties.
The client may access the data concerning him/her, rectify it, request its deletion, exercise his/her right to limit the processing of his/her data, or ask any other question, by contacting RnW.
In addition, the customer may receive information or commercial offers from RnW. The customer may, at any time, object to the receipt of these commercial offers, by writing to RnW.
Claims
Any complaint relating to our services must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt within one month of the service. To exercise this right of complaint, the customer must send RnW a statement in which he expresses his reservations and complaints, accompanied by the supporting documents relating thereto. A claim that does not comply with the conditions described above will not be accepted.
